Imbolc Through, the Goddess eyes:
Darkness surrounds,
No life seems abound…
Chills of mystery,
Lie, before us.
Stillness,
Crispness,
Bitter howls, and moans all too near…
Do not fear in the darkest of nights…
For, I am still here.
I am the darkness; I am the shadow in the light.
My, slumber is long and lonely.
Though, necessary
In order to,
Create & renew life.
I dream of new life in my restful haze…
Though, I gave birth in the darkest of all days.
My sun he needed his sleep to,
In order,
For him to grow!
Just ask the raven,
The bear,
The serpent,
And horse!
Rest and reverence is of late these days...
I hear the calls of spirits in flight,
And feel your pain…
I understand your plight.
But my child; he is resting,
His life so brand renew.
He is stirring slowly,
Soon, will be stronger,
I know this of my creatures…
That this, they all hunger.
I am stirring as well!
Brave children of mine,
The winter is a must.
For all life would not exist…
If I could not give,
And take life.
Nor will it continue,
If I don’t, get rest.
My slumbering is ending.
A new day is dawning!
Frozen Earth now thawing…
Ah! Here the Raven calling?!
The rain washes away the snow,
So all my plants live,
And can continue to grow.
Light a flame,
Do it... in honor of me and my sun.
He whom is growing!
We whom are now young…
He whom will come to full strength!
He, who will die,
Only to be reborn,
So the rest of my children can survive.
Life, as I know it,
Can continue to exist,
And continue to live on in blazing bliss.
Light the flame in honor of us,
Make not a fuss.
Just let me know you understand,
My rest is a must!
Now wake as one &
Show me my slumbering,
Needs to come,
To an end, with the flame shining bright…
Dance about!
Sing a song from your soul!
Recite your ritual rite,
So I may harken, to your call.
Wake me from my dreaming state...
So all life can reawaken!
So all life can frolic and play…
Light a candle...in honor of me.
I am Mother for all come from me.
