by Stewart Bitkoff
Age Group: Adult
Daily I wrestle with my foe;
He is a relentless adversary.
Lately he usually wins;
I am exhausted from this struggle.
Some days, it is impossible to get away.
Seemingly he is always with me;
Pressing me to resist the Higher Call.
On those rare days, when I am victorious,
He serves as friction, pushing me forward;
Finally, conquering these self-imposed road blocks.
