Pushing the Walls

It's all so
restless quiet
moving thunder rolling
kicking your round stomach
pushing the walls
Grotesque shapes as
Jess shapes the interior landscape
sticking her head out,
pushing a foot,
pushing the walls.
"sh*thead!...Stop kicking me!
Stop it..." when I'm down...down.
It's all so...
It's also me
the shape of things to come
shaping the future
shaping the battlefield
shaping our lives
pushing the walls.
It's all so...sad
endless rape of my soul
a sliver of time.
The splinter of that split second eternity
pierces my soul
sticks in my heart
as I watch you bleed out
your only desire.
I cradle her head
holding the wedge between us,
pushing the walls apart.
It's all so maddening
the gaul of it all, so sad.
You've got the biggest balls I've ever seen
for a woman.
Denying her birthright,
denying your oun abusive past,
denying yourself in the end.
In the end
there's no difference between
who's wrong and who's right.
It's her decision in the end.
She'll resent you to the grave,
I know.
In the end pushing the walls
behind her.
