In The Time (You Took Away)

One more day passes by
as I sit here and cry
all alone.
I'm just playing a part
make believe that my heart's
made of stone.
With time the pain begins to fade
into a memory of yesterday
in the time you took away from me.

Words could never explain
the extent of the pain
in my dreams.
As I toss and I fight
you can hear in the night
stifled screams.
