Into this world
by Persephone39
Age Group: Adult
Time passes slowly for us
through the shadow of days
creeps past the tower
and finds love in the maze.
Forever searching for wholeness
straight down to the very core
hollow within us all
but we crave for more.
A neverending quest beyond reason
to ease heartache on the mend
We are brought into this world alone
and we leave by the same hand.
She.the beautiful siren
who calls out to us all
has borne into us life
despite the fact we will fall.
She, the wicked temptress
who resides in the flame
she pulls us toward Avalon
as the moon does wane.
Author's Notes: this poem is about life and death, the scheme of things.
