I won't Forget

I met you long ago
not knowing what to expect.
we met by coincidence
a friendship not all could accept.
we went through some struggles
thinking there was no one to understand
and i forgot you would listen to me
that you were always there to lend a hand.
for a while we lost contact
actually thinking you wouldn't care
but when i called you, you seemed happy
i realized that you had cared that i was there.
Now i gave you advice
for once i let you know that i'm also there
i'm always here for when you need me
even if to call you don't dare.
just keep in mind you have a friend
and no matter how far i am from you
i won't let go of what we have
the way you are is the way i love you.
so now i will say good-bye
sence our lives go different ways
but don't forget the good person that you are
dont forget the good times and better days.
Author's Notes: This goes to Mariam, however embarrasing you may think it is to have your name here is. I just wanted to thank you for the fights that made us grow, the friendship that let me shine, and for letting me know the great person you are today. I'm very proud of you, and i hope everything goes as planned.
