Awake In Sleep

Please be here when I come back
please be here when I return
I don't know if I'm supposed to die
I don't know if i am to be reborn.
I have closed my eyes again
wishing to never awakened
for this life is so full of pain
so full of awful heart breaking.
I stay awake in the darkness
hoping for something good to come home
but i wake up to a new day being started
seeing how a new sunrise is being born
thinking if this will be a better day
or just another i wish was gone.
Author's Notes: Written while I had thoughts of everything I lost in such a short amount of time. I was blinded by grief and i didn't seem able to get out of it. Still to the day it holds me down for the friendships that ment so much to me , but obviously not to anyone else. I felt drained with Betrayal of those i use to love the most. Now I cherish what i have and not what I lose. When i lose someone I believe they were not supposed to be around me at the time. If I gain someone or something I now give them my heart and my honesty.
Now i'm the one that feels Cherished.
