My Heart

I swear it's true what i feel
and everything in my heart for you is real.
Your body gives me great desire
and your lips give me that fire.
I want our love so much to last
and make you forget your awful past.
I know the others hurt you bad
and someone like me you wish you had.
Just forget about the tears and dissapointments
Cuase to tell you the truth they're not even worth it.
sometimes life just isn't completely fair
but just remember that from now on i'll be there.
Believe in me and my honest heart
i want to hold you, not make you fall apart.
I Love You
Author's Notes: I dedicated this poem to someone i truly thought loved me in return. Later after writting such poem i find myself missing her because she went away to her family for a bit. On her return she brakes up with me the first day i see her from her trip. Apparently now she doesn't love me, when a week ago all she could talk about was about how our life would be if we lived together. I'm obviously getting in the way of her priorities, thinking that i was actually one of them. But as you can see from this story it wasn't the way it seemed. Now she tells me that some day i'll understand, i'll finally someday understand why she gave me wings and then chopped them off... i certanly hope so for my "sake".
