When did we grow appart?
When did we drift away?
I wonder where are the reasons
I thought I had to stay...
All those reasons and excuses,
feeble hopes that I imagined,
are what I held to desperately,
unable to see myself without them...
And now
I see that gap again
to feel suddenly
so alone and dead
to kill every memory
that we achieved...
I try so hard
to get closer to you
yet I can see
there is nothing I can do
No one but yourself
can hope to help you...
My love remains undying
yet this pain is a burden
I am not willing to carry...
Your skin burns my desire,
I cannot approach
the air is so cold around you
I forget you have a soul...
My kisses mean nothing,
and there's not a word to redeem
the frail hopes that are now dying
in the deepest part of me...
I have given up
May I become my sin
If I cannot forget the weakness
that has taken you from me...
Author's Notes: I know it's not the best but it is good enough...hopefully... It's edited from the original so in the end it sort of became another poem...
