Spirit Guide

There is a presence that i feel and see
From the corner of my stare
He is looking right twards me
However i feel no dread or fear
Every time i turn to look
To try to see his face
It is almost as though
His charisma has been displaced
Conversely i know that he is there
For watching over myself
He is my spirit guide
Protecting me with stealth
It's almost an eerie feeling
But one that i would not replace
Sometimes there are just some things
That all alone i cannot face
i am grateful for him being here
He helps through bad times and through good
And while U-turns are taken to guide me
His intentions are well understood
