A Soul, Forever Weeping

your thoughts
they shimmer
your memories
they fade
nothing quite makes sence anymore
visions and flashes of what was
help not the state you are in now
you feel helpless and lonly under the cascading moon light
1000 nights seem to wither away
and still here you are
lost in tranquility
the brilliance of your mind
forgotten among the agony
suffering with a whithering heart
barely beating in its chest
the pain of a knife gives no pleasure
a guns bullet holds no answer
you find yourself many a night at the waters edge
the burning of breathing water may stop your heart
but it will never stop your soul from crying
weeping as you live among bliss and false laughter
paying your penence in its finality
living in happyness while your soul weeps
forever
Author's Notes: I wrote this after doing a deep meditational exercize. Let me know what y'all think!
