The Disease of The Lie

The Disease of The Lie
as new life is resurrected it falls to the disease of the lie
justifying itself through falsehood
it's tales are woven by hands of long ago
death bleeds life into the insanity
like rushing water from the stream, it brings a chill to the bone
5000 needles of intoxication bring the disease through you
as the disease courses through your veins
the fairy tales and fables become truths
hidden in lies, people succumb to disease of the lie
lies are woven so intricately into the minds of the infected
that they believe to have the truth told within their minds
by a voice that exists only in their heads
the disease of the lie paramounts
to world spread insanity of the brain
laughing at the truth while it falters away
it pushes beyond insanity into an intoxicated reality
that pursues the sane to join it in its massive reverie to save the world
the seemingly meaningless words that are set before you
tell the truth beyond the deceit of the lie
the sanity beyond the insane reality of lies told to you
so now as you sit before this truth
your mind wanders
seeking the knowledge of the greatest lie ever told
in return I simply ask you
what lie could fool every man in the world
all who were born,
all who are born,
and those who are meant to be?
