Loneliness

A woman leads into the mist
Low tide beach
Her practiced mask slipping
To allow lazy curls of clouds
To mingle with her silent rain
Rivers coursing down flushed cheeks
To puddle in the corners of her lips
Toes lingering in salt foam
As moon beams become
Her only companions,
She fades on into the mist
Low tide beach.
