Hold on to me

When I awoke this morn
the sky was purple and blue.
I looked to the God with the horn
and asked him what I should do.
Nothing seems real here today
I'm afraid I am still in a dream.
Can I touch you if I may
to see if you are what you seem?
I feel me slipping further from here
to where I dont know.
If you dont hold me near
I'm afraid I'll slip and go.
The Horned one assures me
to be patient and trust.
That I'll have to wait and see
if it's true love or just lust.
I want to live in the here and now
no matter what it proves to be.
Whatever the Gods will allow
so please just hold on to me.
