Earth Dedication

I am the Earth the green and black. That holdeth the power from which we've lacked.
I hold open arms out to the weary. I hold no mercy for those who fear me.
But why fear me? I am a creature of God. My open fields are warm while you sleep under the stars.
My trees protect you as you whisper to them your darkest dreams. My soil comforts you, though at the beginning hard it may very well seem. I always bring peace and have no hopes for sorrow.
So I am forever Earth. From yesterday 'till tomorrow.
Author's Notes: I wrote this because I am an Earth sign and I felt that this is what Earth tries to tell her children everyday.
