Unknown Pain

Having yet another bad day
I long to lay down to close my eyes
Being filled with so much dismay
Wishing for nightfall so no one hears my cries.
I need to hear that I matter
Even if it's just to one soul
Sick of feeling all the batter
To just make it to the next second is my goal.
Seeking comfort within a stranger
And never finding any solace
Not giving thought to any danger
Even when it was right in my face.
Dropping to my knees again
Pleading for the Divines intervention
Begging for them to take my pain
To help me with sexual abstention.
