Drunk with lust for you
Turning blue in need of you
Sight, sound, and smell of you
In my mind I see it through
Laughing, sighing, singing Doors
Wishing you would leave these pores
Seeping out of memory
What once I thought you meant to me
A past, a dream, a thing long gone
Poetry, prose, enduring song
From me these things take flight
Without me giving them the right
How can these things be true
It's long years since I took my leave of you
Wrong for me you've always been
Now and then, again and again
Those mistakes I won't repeat
Still this will be a feat
Saying no to you once more
Will close again my hearts backdoor.
