I remember when I was little
I wanted to be strong like you…
You thought me how to use a hammer,
fishing and boxing too..
The giggles and laughter your
Funny faces brought me..
My tiny hands making fist
For you to see
I wanted so bad to make you proud
I needed to know and
Hear it out loud..
That no matter what I did
And if I failed..
In your eyes I would always prevail
So know this Father..
From the very start..
I learned so much from you
Because it came from your heart
