Darkness Darkness Darkness

Something inside has caused me to seek.
My darkness in which no one can peek.
How safe and warm it feels now
Here where I don't have to hide my frown
Away from the place where false emotions reign
There where all I've worked for shows nothing I've gained
That place where behind a mask I must hide
And not care if I'm hurting greatly inside
How I long for just one friend to ask
Is there something you need maybe help with a task?
I find myself wanting my darkness instead
For it seems those around me, hear not what I've said Here in my darkness I can rant and rave.
Just pour out my troubles until to my tears I cave
Letting go of frustration anger and grief
Here in my darkness I find my relief.
