Lady Night

White crystals shine
Through her jet black hair.
Catch the eyes of many
Does her beauty glowing fair...
Tired of attention
For beauty raw and true;
Strained from heavy sapphires
And diamonds blinking new...
She illuminates the rivers,
Sprinkles magic on the land.
She throws her many treasures
Into the sea and sand...
She looks at her reflection
In the glittering new sea.
Feeling free and weightless
She smiles in pure glee...
Humming tunes of liberty,
Her hair catching no light,
She dances off in happiness,
The true and thoughtful Night..
