What I want is your love, not your lust.
I've seen your eyes wonder.
I know I'm not your dream girl
But I still deserve your trust.
You have shackled me with jealousy
And you’re cheating at your own game.
I abandoned my childhood for you,
Now I'm no longer the same.
Everyday is hell with you
Your true colors are starting to show.
All the times I struggled my battered body along the linoleum,
You'd smile and you would start to glow.
When you told me I was your one,
It would make my heart fly.
But now your bitterness has silenced my person
And I've grown really shy.
I no longer see my friends
And you say it's because I'm a "whore".
But baby, the truth is,
You're the one who goes behind my back to score.
My spirit once was mirthful
But now is spoiled with morose.
You've made me this way,
Which is why we're no longer as close.
I've reflected on how you treated me
And now I can plainly see.
Our love was just a mirage,
Now please set me free...
