Bitter Journey

The immenseness of the stars draws me in to their eternity.
I can't adjust to this darkness and my anger escalates to severity.
I want to run, I want to break.
And the path I walk descends to hate.
I pierce my nails into the earth.
The only thing I want gone, is my hurt.
I tear the ground in a rage.
I think I belong in a cage.
I'm a potential danger to myself and my own mind.
The person who I look for, I cannot find.
I want to punch the mirror so hard.
I want to cut my face with shards.
I cannot take this being I am.
And to think I once was THEIR precious gem.
What in the world has happened to me?
I've been taught to hate my own deformity.
I've allowed myself to watch my life sinuously bend.
Why am I cursed with such bitterness that seems to have no end?
Author's Notes: I hate this piece, but I like to compare to how I feel now...But yeah...Another typical teen jargon
