Materialism

Kind to anything,
The prize is.
One trip to the crossing
The road is ever-on
Shadows amidst,
An eclipse of what saves.
Searching for a broken whole
Running off the course
Audios beep around
Does anybody know?
It’s okay to worry
Bravery is better though
Sans Regret a story
Now it’s whisper’s wake
This moment goes to them…
Kinder would never take
Chaos is around
The truth is okay
So long as things remain
But happiness never stays
The wonder of a sphere
Just let a belief go
What difference is joy,
When the sphere leaks sorrow?
This rock beneath a balance
It’ll tip when it is clear
This night deserves a chance
Not too many will hold dear

The title kinda gives the meaning away, I think...
It's about everyone being lost in this whole new digital age that we're living in. It seems as though SOME people have forgotten that material isn't everything and there are still billions of people in this world and a large portion of them (especially, those not within the US) don't have much. The ones who do have much are too caught up in what they have, that they seem to not care about anyone or anything else.
Sans Regret means "without regret" in French. That is my namesake heritage, but it stands for something totally different in this poem.
