Nightmare of All

Close the eyes
Saying it’s not real
Opening the mind
The dolor will heal
The screaming
The burning
The suffering
The dolor
Afraid of change
Not wanting what’s good
Disregarding a task that should
Freedom is not the end
That intimidation…
A promised message to send
Creating games
Still able to play
A difference
Yet I know what to say
Feeding words?
But disagreeing on this today
Always the cut glass
Placed in a maze of dolor
A prison for now
Very tricky when sober
Surroundings are laughter
Closing eyes now
Always screaming through chapters
Everything is real
If so “all-loving”
Then evil’s not so evil
Author's Notes: The angle of this piece is to reflect on my conversations with whom I pray to (God, Creator, Great Spirit) about my frustrations and attitude towards finding happiness and meaning in life. I reveal to {God} that I consider my current existence a prison for my spirit and that I must use mind altering substances to cope with the destructions {God} allowed humanity to inflict. Though I fear what my own voice sounds like, I attempt to find it outside the conversations. What I mean is that I feel it is {God’s} voice within me that argues with {God}. It’s very hard to make sense out of it without being judged as a lunatic.
