Visible Ghost

I have many friends who diss me
An ex I miss dearly
A family who always treats me
Like a delinquent, but they don’t see me
No wonder I spent so many years wallowing in misery
No wonder I have no identity and now, I’m kind of easy
I always act so nicely
Unacknowledged all the time, see
My existence is unidentified
So I contemplate suicide
My prayers that go unanswered
Leave me crying out those bad words
Those feelings have me wanting
What everyone else is flaunting
So I just keep on pretending
That for me, there’s no lamenting
My old life was so much better
Without him, my eyes are wetter
Loneliness is a bitch
Compared to the bruising I’d never snitch
You all had me believing
That my relationship was so demeaning
And now you turn your backs
After I dumped his loser ass
Where am I now-a-days?
Like any of you care!
If this is so, then I should run
To a place where life is more fair
Just you wait and see
One day I will be free
With all that fame and fortune
That 90 percent aren’t getting from me!
F*** that 90!
F*** this fake s***!
