Pensive Wonderment

A stoop helps produce the entertainment.
I shift my eyes from sidewalk to street.
My head turns towards the cars that drive by.
I have so many questions for the people who ride.
For the pedestrians close by, what are their names?
Their limbs become branches of trees,
And are averted by wind after they wave, “hello.”
How long did it take those trees to grow?
And how is it that the sky stays blue each day?
Somehow, toxic emissions cannot be seen in the air-
The air that so many need to live and breathe.
Over six billion people…my head is dizzy.
I want for me to meet all of these people.
How can a floating sphere support so much life?
Those universal elements are still left to ponder…
While my mind spins to figure this life cycle, I wonder,
What connection makes everything so vital?
Author's Notes: I sooo do not consider this a poem. They were just ordinary thoughts that I reworded to try to rhyme but I failed. LOL. yeah... I still got a good grade on it though :D
