Decision Crisis

tug of war, tug of war.
pressure deep, i cannot soar.
pointless fights. sleepless nights.
to have enough and still want more.
its like a cage before an audience.
theres no hope for future promises.
thinking of a whole rather than a one.
and so i feel as though trying is done.
there are answers. theres a guess
to carry strength on through this test.
but wheres the limit? wheres the solice
to finding peace beyond this knowledge?
internal battles stringing on the years.
lost identity due to secret fears.
i feel a speckle in a cloud of dust.
a wounded bird with flightless trust.
tug of war, tug of war.
self doubt reaches an irrevocable score.
Author's Notes: Wrote this on March 19, 2012.
I'm at a point in my college career where I am starting to freak out a little because I do not know what i am going to do once I get my degree. Theres so much i want to do but I cant choose all so I am very indecisive and confused right now. Also, Im looking back on my past self to help deicde whats right for me- and whats right for everyone who i want to help. My main goal is to travel the world and help people and bring positive change, but I dont know how I will go about doing that because there is so much i want to do and its very overwhelming for me.
