Mono-tonous Longing

Painted in the leaves are whispers of telepathy.
Once I flick, the fumes rise higher.
I'm praying, begging.
I'm fantasizing.. just my usual contemplating.
None here.
None there.
Buried in laughs
Are tears and longing.
A place in the center.
A quintessential force.
Traces of that favored pulse
Lost somewhere on the sore thumb.
Bottled in guilt.
Hiding of shame.
Something to find.
I challenge to conjure.
I am seen but not seen.
I am heard but not heard.
For there is always two to come together
To make a billion.
And a billion...
And a billion...
Once upon a time.
Long ago.
There once was a---
And lived happily ever after. The End.
Irony? There is an end to an ever after?
Perfection is boredom,
So who would want to know the rest?
A rest to no rest.
A piece to no peace.
An attic on fire.
A ship that wont sink.
You get the picture. i need not elaborate further
To reluctantly profess deep desires.
i just keep praying.

Author's Notes: Wrote this on September 23, 2012
If I revealed what this poem is really about, then it would defeat the purpose for why I titled it the way I titled it. Take a guess.
Here are a few hints:
"Traces of that favored pulse" means the heart flutter felt when in excitement.
"Lost somewhere on the sore thumb"- since the earth is by far the only known planet to sustain life, it stands out in the universe.
"A ship that wont sink"- making a reference to Titanic
"I challenge to conjure"- when life gives you lemons, alter and replant the seeds. When God is being mysterious, solve his puzzles.
"...to make a billion"- there are 7 billion people on this planet.
