Beauty Is

Feet stumble on my course
cut and bruised
bleeding as a weeping heart
crushed by loves embrace.
Anguish lacking,
melancholy stilled,
balanced over the precipice
of oblivion.
How it takes my breath
to look into the eyes
of one Divine and
see the secret of
life
reflected there in darkness.
The secret is me
listening to the echo of
Creation
through my own heart
beat
beat
beat.
How beautiful is
the sound of your voice
echoed through mine.
How lovely the cords
that ring out in darkness of night;
soothing fear,
easing tension,
lessening strife.
