Song for Samhain

Lord and Lady, welcome here
As I bid good spirits near.
Power rises. Power curls.
The veil is thin between the worlds.
Old ones wise, old ones dear,
I honor you within this sphere.
Ancestors of both flesh and soul,
As I light this candle, your memory I hold.
Receive from me the honor due.
On this Samhain, my vow I renew:
To learn from life, love Mother Earth,
Respect each individual's worth.
Live by the Rede and the law of three.
As I will, so mote it be.
By earth and air, fire and water,
I am Mother Nature's daughter.
I honor the Divine with its' myriad faces
And know truth is found in many places.
I seek for balance between dark and light
And find a well of strength on this sacred night.
I speak now my secret name.
The power of the goddess I claim.
I am ****, strong, proud, and free.
As I will, so mote it be.
