Don't Pretend

to know this Witch
and lay judgment upon me
to think you know all
is misgiven
my Goddess knows
She knows when I weep
She laughs with me
when happiness peaks
I am Her Magickal Child
your judgment means nothing
She speaks the deepest Mysteries
that I may understand
judge all you wish
I know the truth
your judgment
is spoken or done
in ignorance
to tell me
my Goddess
is a demon
or devil in disguise
fires my passion
for Her even higher
my Goddess loves me
even more than I know
Her Love is Perfect
the night She held me as Hers
She kissed my tears
and all fell away
I knew my Life's
purpose
I am a Witch
don't try to understand
don't try to condemn
my ways are Hers
Her ways are mine
I walk between
this world and
the next
I know things
you can't comprehend
Judge!
judge all you wish
Her Love is Perfect
my path is my own
seek not to discern
this is just but one
way to this Witch's
Summerland..............
Author's Notes: I wrote this after an xtian person swore up and down that my Goddess was a demon or devil in disguise. I was disgusted, of course, but I chose the Path of Peace. These judgments are coming faster and faster each day. Nothing but a small price to pay, for what the Goddess has given me, Her Magickal Child. Peace, soul grounding Peace. The Magicks are a great bonus, but the Peace is what I have sought all my life........and found in Her. Yes, for Her, I will endure anything, no matter what comes, I will persevere as Her Child and none other's. I have learned some hard lessons of late, but I still remain Her Child. What could I possibly give in return? Except my enduring Love?
