Glory in the Morning

I wake to find a million tiny rainbows
Adorning the high points of creation
Spider's web glistening like a witch's shawl
Shot through with diamonds.
Tiny blades of green grass adorned
With myriads of color
In this light, even pond water
Has something to show.
Hyacinth, Lily of the Valley, Daffodils, Tulips
All aroused by the quickening of the Earth
Bird voices sing liltingly, nature's music boxes
For She has passed this way.
I follow the trail of disturbed dew
And slow at the sound of tinkling laughter
A smile touches my face as it is joined by a deeper voice
She has captured his heart once more.
In the stillness of the morning,
Sun and moon are balanced.
There is harmony in the world
For they are again as one.
Author's Notes: A bit about what it might be like to stumble upon our Lord and Lady in the blush of their new love in the Spring.
