Ode To Hades

The Gates of Hades are open.
The time of the Dark Lord again.
The days of waning light are upon us.
His love is without and within.
He whispers He loves us, we hear Him.
We call Him He comes to our side.
The wheel turns above as below us
And soon He will sit with His Bride.
In youth He gifts us with beauty
And desire for gold in our hand.
From deep in the earth He calls to us.
We answer from sea and from land.
In time He bestows us with treasure
As we blow Him kisses in the dark.
He gives us a taste of true pleasure
And beckons on His path to embark.
Great Hades, Dark Lord we do not fear You.
We honor and love you without shame.
In the days of the waning we grow near You
And rejoice in knowing You reign.
The flesh is a gift and we know it.
We honor our life and our loves.
We honor the Lady Who bestowed it.
And know so below is above.
We shed our fears and rise from our knees.
And of the flesh in this life we do tire.
It is you at the end Who awaits us
With Your final kiss from this life we retire.
