The Earth quickens
As I listen to the wind at my back.
In the rustling leaves
I hear him…
The sound of hooves coming forth.
I breathe in the warm, moist air,
And all seems to radiate life.
My blood courses through my veins
Like liquid fire.
Passions rise, and I yearn…
Longing for his touch,
And so he brushes my cheek,
And the world dissolves
As I lay amidst the woodland floor.
His presence covers me.
Lost in ecstasy ,
He fulfills me.
The Mother supports me
While he instills me with the very essence of life.
Pain is pleasure, and pleasure is pain.
All things are one…
Lost in the sheer bliss of the moment,
The world itself dissolves…
Nothing more than a grain of salt
Coursing through the seas of time and space…
So terrible and violent,
And yet serene.
In a single moment of time
Life explodes into being…
Light penetrating the darkness
And planting the seeds of the cosmos…
The seeds of life.
From violence life is born,
And from life is born violence…
As life consumes light
And devours life to sustain itself.
The ebb and flow of the cosmic sea…
Of nature…
Constantly opposed…
Yet seeking absolution and union,
As one.
