God de Visions

Age Group: Adult
We are but divisions of God:
Awareness spread across time and space,
Droplets of thought...
That form an endless sea.
We cling to one another in its depths,
Forming the bonds of matter
That bring about creation and form.
So we create God,
As well as ourselves...
For we are God
Divided by visions of thought and mind...
Fractals mimicking themselves in the matrix of creation.
Then a miracle occurs...
In the solitude of our individual awareness,
We forget who we are in the depths of eternity
And grow lonely.
So we create ourselves as Adam,
And with desire and longing comes Eve...
And we mold this world of clay
To our desires.
Yet some part of us remembers.
Something calls to us from time to time:
The liberating allure of Lilith,
Who would destroy our worldly dream.
And she reminds us
That we are a single scale,
Writhing upon the spiraling serpent of infinity.
We long to connect again to the whole of creation...
As flashes of infinity...
Of who we truly are...
Fall from the Heavens:
Pagan flames that burn away at the dreams of the self...
Of the ego...
And show that we,
Though mortal be
Are gods...
We make ourselves.
