A slumbering mountain so quiet and still,
‘Tis the phallus of Tartarus yearning to feel…
The pleasures of Gaia, sweet Mother of Earth.
Orgasmic the union and fire gives birth….
To passion like serpents who rise with the flame
And to fervor of storm that still carries his name.
Writhing with flames, like serpents that coil..
Ascending with smoke to the heavens which spoil.
Gods flee as the clouds are soon blackened with ash…
The monster or god? The flame or the flash?
The gods who so tamed and keep Titans at bay
Lose now the battle; dark reigns in the day.
The will of the Mother is but primal return,
The order to fall, and the ego to burn.
The son though grows weary and yearning for sleep,
Embraced by his Mother, returns to the deep.
Gods that hold power upon him now lay…
A mountain of fire to keep him at bay.
The Mother though saddened... her final son lost,
Takes comfort... dominion has surely a cost.
A mountain they claim and the heavens and sea
As do mortals, their children, who “own” more than she.
Her child awaits; the storm grows in her womb.
One day he’ll awake and place “gods” in their tomb.
