Of Melancholy Lies

This is the final in a set of three... 2 that are the paths on the Trees of Life (A Road to Nothing) and Death (A Fall From Hell) .... combined into one... two sides of a coin.
Awaken now and see the Earth with newly opened eyes.
As shadows dance upon a hell of melancholy lies.
Dreams of self reflect the “truth” on surface of the moon,
Whilst whispers linger in the air of shadows rising soon.
Hermes to the air is born; thought forms within the mind,
Yet Samael falls unto the ground with serpents now his kind.
Ah but Venus, wondrous fair, stirs passions from the deep.
Like death upon a raven’s wings or cats and frogs that leap.
To light the world a Sun is born to shine and show the way,
But De’ath must come… One tree is born. One withers with decay.
A god of war must passions tame of fury and of wrath.
Adorned with flame though will he burn the bodies on his path?
Oh mercy show me Jupiter, a father’s love you claim.
Devour that which binds the soul; lay waste to fear and shame.
Dark sun now cross into the womb that bore the Lord of Time
Flee the light, concealed from god, in darkness so sublime.
Mother bears a titan race by Sky from out her womb.
Confused by God, the flies arise with rot within the tomb.
Ah the Crown at last is seen. Poseidon rules the deep...
Far below a second crown and trident in his keep.
Endless light surrounds a half of circle closed in space,
Yet darkness reigns when sun has set with night a second face.
A dance in time , an endless dream, that spans infinity,
Fills the Void, the Emptiness with life and death of tree.
No thing is there which may exist beyond this conscious stream,
For Formless Chaos, Desolation…. awaken to a dream.
The serpent moves, and replicates, with motions side to side.
Seas will rise whilst angels fall… Neptune or Satan’s tide?
Two trees there are for all to climb so see them with new eyes.
Where to start… On Earth or hell… of melancholy lies?
