The Breath of the Dragon

We seek to find God and be free.
Robes wash in blood, yet make them fresh.
The demons… they constantly call me,
To sins and desires of flesh.
The body’s a shell and a prison,
That part of ourselves minus God.
So is there really a reason,
To walk through the paths that we trod.
The bodies, they will not contain us.
We are death rising from ash.
The flames of the dark prince, Draconis,
Burns all in an infinite flash.
There is no up or down really,
Just onward and inward you see.
And right or left, oh well, it’s silly;
The center we always shall be.
A spinning black hole is devouring,
And sending us on to our hells.
To storms that are constantly churning,
Our bodies are merely but shells.
Inward is only a journey:
A death of the self that you know.
When your time comes on a gurney,
The soul lives on in shadow.
When deepest we come in the womb.
Our light is condensed to a shell.
As gravity covers the tomb,
It breaks like the tides of a spell.
Oh death is but our absolution:
An end to an infinite dream…
Stilled waves upon a great ocean…
‘Til geysers gush forth as a stream.
Ecstatic the bliss of the moment.
A union of poles has set free…
The spirit… like skin of a serpent,
We shed: from our bondage set free.
Onwards to heaven above us
'Til all that is left is a thought.
I am the great dragon, Draconis
The phallus of form the womb sought.
So lonely as one in the darkness,
I inwardly seek but a dream
Sin… is it really a weakness?
To yearn to be bound in the stream?
The rise and the fall of an angel…
The push and the pull of the wave…
Like tides I always repel
Two poles that I constantly crave.
