Leviathan

Swimming in the waters of a deep, abysmal sea,
There is a serpent rising who is longing to be free.
Lost in utter darkness, he sees only in his mind,
Visions of the surface and another of his kind.
He sees her in her splendor with her dark, alluring eyes.
Like Lilith, she is tempting, with her melancholy lies.
If I bring her to me, it would surely be a sin.
I am something more than her within the world of men.
Oh, but she is tempting me with her forbidden fruit;
To eat of death, when two make one, a tree we could
uproot.
She is always tempting me and blames a writhing snake.
Am I that snake within the deep? Myself do I forsake?
I bring her close, and wrap my arms in union’s sweet embrace,
And for a fleeting moment I will find amazing grace.
The union, an explosion, an awareness of the self,
Carries much more wisdom than a book upon a shelf.
As "God" awakes and opens his eternal watchful eye,
A moment comes, when two are one...we lose the sense of "I".
I am the eye that opens in the deep, abysmal sea,
Dreaming in my loneliness for one to be with "me“.
The serpent has awakened, at the eye, which is the root.
Kundalini rises like the snake who brings the fruit.
Expanding is my “knowledge” so I open up my eyes,
To see the world is truly made of melancholy lies.
Lies of tempting women, sin, and angels lost in flame,
Are bound within a circle with a "twisted" serpent’s name.
