Something About Motion

Moving along at light speed
Noticing nothing in particular.
Listening to Country Music
On the radio.
18 wheels keep rolling on down.
Listen to wind
Blowing through the windows.
Moving hair
And papers to boot.
How did I get here?
Oh yea,
Needed the money.
The waitress winks
At me as she sets the coffee down.
I smile
Noncommittally.
She's pretty.
Dimples accentuating her cheeks,
She's got a nice stack
And I think about taking
Her up on the invitation.
I don't.
Country Music blast through the radio
and I don't care about much
Because life is great.
And I'm gone.
Where's tomorrow?
