Summerland For A Day

Awakened on a bed of grass, I cant remember when I smelled it last. Sweet and strong, fresh and clean, as if it all were just a dream. Warm sun flashes my face, with beams so warm, I can almost taste. Lightly blowing breeze gives cool host, just as I seem to need it the most. The smells of all the best in life, and all pouring out, in the air so light. I stand and gaze wide and see, oceans of flowers and seas of trees. There is my dog maxx, my grammy too, there is my cat, his name is blue. They are all here and waiting to see, if id come home here, to run and be free. Then from out of the tide, a mother I know, whose arms are open wide.
I run to her, and fall in her arms, and she whispers her name with magickal charm. Tis your's this day, til you are ready to go, back to your plane, waiting below. Stay here as long as you must, for summerland is here if you trust. I walk to the edge and I see, all my old family crying for me. I want to wave and say that I am ok.... in summerland just for a day... Panisch Lockelear
