Goddess Of The Moon

Goddess of the Moon, shine down upon me
so that I may see
The path laid out for me
I am but a child who has lost her way
Feeble and broken my heart lies in your pale light
Pick it up and hold it close to your loving heart
I’m scared, searching for the right way
I long to be once again in your light
To be in perfect love and perfect trust
With myself and all around me
I’ve strayed from the path
My heart chose years ago
A prayer of hope from your lost child
Longing to be wrapped in her mother’s loving embrace
I wish to sit in the pale moonlight
To feel you bathing me in love once more
Whispering in my ear that you are always with me
No matter how far I may stray
I’ll be able to find my way back to you
Standing with open arms
Welcoming me into your circle of magick once more
Hear my prayer Goddess of the Moon
Shine upon my path
So I may find my way back to you
Hold your child of magick and light in your arms
And never let go
This is my will
So mote it be
Author's Notes: I wrote this during a difficult time in my life. I wansn't just asking for the goddess help. I was asking for my mothers help also. My mother in my eyes is a goddess in her on way. I'm greatful for her each and everyday. And for the guidence I she has given me. Glowing Ember my mother I love you with all my heart. Thanks for you guidence and now I am beginning to make those wise choices you wanted me to make. I still have a long ways to go but I am getting there, slowly but surely. I love you mom!
