The count down begins
The clock slows to reveal the short time remaining
tick tock tick tock
As the end nears I exhale
Pressing the cold metal closer
My body glows with anticipation
As I cling to the steel as it becomes part of me
Rather as I become part of it.
We are one
Theres a crackling sound so low I can barely hear it
This is my signal to GO!
As I draw back...everything that has brought me to this point flashes before my eyes
