Song of Storm

I calm myself and listen to the song,
that is made by the storm,
chanting it's words to resonate,
with the oncomming storm.
The spirit of the storm allowed me to feel some of the power contained within the dark clouds,
energy dancing through my body in beat of the storm, energising me and protecting me.
All of this would not be possible,
if I didn't listen to the song of the storm,
not the obvious sound of thunder and lightning; mind you,
but the song the spirits sing when a storm is approaching.
Everything has a song be it a stone, the warmth on your face, or an seeming soulless building;
once a person learns to listen for that song, they will benefit from it greatly.
Author's Notes: I was able to experience this when I was walking to work at 5:30 in the morning during a thunderstorm, on 5/4/08. It was the BEST day at work because of this.
