The Music In My Soul

The music in my soul is both strong and bold.
Just like the bards as they sing songs of old.
The music that I play comes in every variety,
From sad to happy, strong to weak,
My soul thrives with music, coming alive,
The joy of it known to only me, myself, and I.
Others may see it as my “cheerful personality”,
But I see it as the many other sides of me.
The music in me has many different pitches.
From a larks sweet notes to an eagles sharp screeches,
Sometimes it is like the river, rushing over rocks.
But also like a ripple effect caused by a single drop.
The music in my soul is such a thin to behold.
And has more value than pieces of silver and gold.
The rhythm and the beat flow easily
Like in a song with melody and harmony,
This music inside me is seamless like time
And yet, this is why I call it mine.
