Mindless racing, running through fears
Running, running wiping off the tears
A cold breeze hits my face
I feel you, I breath in your taste
I know you’re here
I know you’ll wash away my fear
Your touch along my body , I shiver
Your lips on my mine, the heat you deliver
Running and running getting out of the cold
Listening to the rain and the story that is told
Lives cut short and new beginnings
The things we go through as human beings
Leaves hit my face as your wind guides me
Soon with you I’ll be
My earth whispers, she feels you
She guides me, tells me what to do
I’m lost without you, my air
My eyes focus and I see you there
Arms open wide, waiting for release
In your arms I will find my peace
No running, no fears
No cold, no tears
My earth, Your air
Our love will take us anywhere
I’ll never be lost, your always with me
In your arms I’ll always be.
Author's Notes: Another one about my husband and I from the beginning. My element is earth and his air, it fits as we are utterly opposite...
