Venting

Wish these fleeting memories
Would just pass on by
Wish I could just let go
So I can be myself again
Wish I would stop trying so hard
Just to bring you back
Your voice
It haunts each day
Buring a spot deep in my mind
I can't shake it
I can't let go
I wish for that white flag to wave
To let me know that it's all over
I wish just for once
I didn't have to think of you
Didn't have to remember
All the cruel things you said
All the cruel things you did
All the blame you placed on me
All the lies you made me live
To you I was just a toy
Treat me gently so I wouldn't break
Keep me ignorant and locked in the dark
Played with my fears
Played with my mind
Leave me a twisted mess
Now I am nothing to you
Making me face each day with out you
Disposable and useless
Calling me a animal licking her wounds
Just drive that dagger in deeper
You took what you wanted
Now you are done
Now, I am done
Dead is all you'll ever be to me
Author's Notes: Uhm.... I come from a lot of bad things. Some times, I just need to vent and let out. I guess this was some what recent. all the same it's just letting out pain and allowing me to heal and let go. As is most of my writing. Me telling myself that that chapter of my life is finally done with being written and that I have this whole new chapter to open up and get ready for.
