The Goddesses Gifts

By Her grace the gracious Goddess grants
Healing and spice in Her precious plants
Roots and flowers, trees and seeds
The Goddess provides for all our needs
Cures for stomach ills, cuts, rashes and burns
Wise is the one who the Goddesses gift learns.

Author's Notes: I composed this verse as the opening to The Home Herbalist, one of the discussions on my personal group, Path Seekers, on Pagan Space.
The discussion is where my group member share their knowledge of the growing, healing properties and food and ritual uses of plants and herbs.
