After A Midsummers Rain

My night's sky where stars reigned,
My heart beats fast, its rhythm untamed.
The power that rises from the earth,
As I delight in my rebirth.
The wind whips about me, a cool embrace,
Love abundant in serenity and grace.
The night after the summer's first rain,
My joy exploding, impossible to feign.
Beautiful raindrops freefalling from trees,
A kiss on my cheek, after a ride on leaves.
A fire burning low and bright,
Brings light to darkest night.
I am at peace here, though I am alone,
Under the trees, where the moon’s light has shone.
I wind myself down from this stressful day,
I breathe in the scent of the leaves as the sway.
What a wonderful feeling, I am finally at peace,
I breath it in and feel release.
Fully centered and grounded,
My relaxation completely well rounded.
I am full and complete in this place,
A big and beautiful smile upon my face.
I walk back through the forest, touching trees as I pass,
Thanking the Goddess, and confident this feeling will last.
