A dog in the Summerlands

~A dog in the Summerlands~
It is where the sun shines and days are long.
Bugs, birds and bees carry the song.
Yesterdays are here no more and you start a new day
with each open door.
The times stands still and there is no hurry or rush.
You can run without fences and play without fuss.
No one is master, and no one is less.
There is no hurt and everyone is blessed.
Hurt is allowed to fall to the ground, and loving feelings and attention is found.
There is no young and there is no old, Just perpetual bliss as each new day unfolds.
No hunger or fear, no sadness or strife.
All the things a dog longs for in life.
And when you've been a dog, you can look to this joy, Next you can be born a little girl or little boy.
We all have been dogs in one life or the next.
For the lord and Lady has seen we are blessed.
We are given a voice and can decide on our own, we stay here or we can simply go home.
We can be human, in the next life to be.
or we can simply wait for our friends under shade trees...Panisch~
